Welcome to BingFa.Info,
The Online One-Stop Resources Centre, Website, Portal, Blog
& Community On "Art of War" & "War Strategies"
The Chinese has a saying, "Shang Chang3 Ru2 Zhan4 Chang3"
(the business world is like the battlefront). Haha, how true that is.
In the present C21 (Century 21st) we are living in, doing business
is definitely very "competitive". Even if we are just "minding our own business",
it is very difficult to completely avoid any "conflicts".
The commercial world has always been a "dog eat dog" world. One way or another,
there are always battles to be fought and wars to be won. Just like in life in
general - it is truely "survival of the fittest".
What better way to protect ourself from becoming a victiom of "war"
than to study and understand war strategies? And when it comes to studying
the strategies and tactics of war, what better country to study than
China? For the last 3000 over years, the "middle kingdom" has been involved
in tens of thousands of battles big and small, in wars that basically:
built or eliminated thousands of states and kings / lords;
built or break apart the whole country and dynasties and hundreds of emperors.
For a country that had fought civil wars (and wars with neighbouring
countries) of all magnitude and sizes, for so long, war strategies and warfare
has become an art in China. In fact, there are hundreds of "Art of War"
masterpieces. Of course the most well-known worldwide happened to be
"The Art of War of Sun Tzu" (Sunzi Bingfa) and
"Thirty Six Strategems" (San Shi Liu Ji).
One beauty of Chinese "Art of War" and "Strategies of Warfare"
is that apart from applying the tactics and manoeuvres (maneuvers) to
actual conflicts and fightings in war and battles,
we can also effectively use the wisdom successfully
to empower our business, work or life in general. Why?
Because Chinese "art of war" is more than just about fighting.
The art / strategy of war of the Chinese is also very much about
psychology, human communications, philosophies of life, etc.
"Bingfa" - "Art of War"
Bing Fa (pronounced as "bing fa3" in Mandarin Chinese language):
roughly translated to mean
"Art of War".

- On War ("Vom Kriege" in German) is a book on military strategy and tactics by Prussian general Karl von Clausewitz
Yep, the best way to prevent war is to understand em.
As the famous war strategist of Ancient China (2000 years ago) said:
"Know your enemy, know yourself ... 100 battles, 100 victories".
- Sun Wu (Sun Zi)
And
"To defeat your enemy in every battle is good. But the sweetest victory is
to subdue your enemy without going to war and without the loss of even one
single life!"
- Sun Wu (Sun Zi)
We do not advocate nor do we support war.
In fact, we are strongly againts "war" of any nature.
Why? Because war damages everyone involved.
It is a Lose/Lose situation.
Resources are depleted and wasted.
Hundreds and thousands of lives are lost.
Peoples suffer. Countries suffer. The whole WORLD suffer.
But we also believe that in order to PREVENT or AVERT war, we have to know about war.
Understand war. Comprehend the minds behind why people choose conflicts or
negotiations. Know war strategies in order to counter em.
And sometimes, the best defence is offence.
One should not go to war for any reason.
One should not start a war for any reason.
But should one be attacked, one should be ready.
